Unembedding images.

I recall hearing of people embedding illegal images into others months ago, after a 4chan userscript was released that does so on the fly. Are there tools out there to mass-edit/format my image folder in its entirety to circumvent this? If I were to change everything from PNG to JPG, shouldn't the potential crap be compressed out?

Figured it out. Ifranview has an option for mass conversion, pity it's Wangblows only software.
