More situations like these are bound to occur because of apathy from spectators and an inability to mend the situation as the deranged rioters outnumber the amount of people sent in to mitigate the problem. So, the National Guard can't do shit because there's too many rioters.
If anything, it reminds me of January 6th or the BLM riots.
And while California has been a shithole for decades, this kind of shit is only made worse by and because of social media.
As these people have become agitated by what their filtered echo chambers have presented to them online, to the point of going out and creating these unpredictable, deranged, anger-induced, riots akin to mass hysteria; but on such a level where they can not only happen rapidly but also very frequently. Too frequently. Again, look at BLM. It's only going to get worse.
