My dog Sage is a rescue. Her family tied her to a street sign and left her. We got her 2 years ago, and to this day I can tell she has problems whenever my stepmom isn't home. it makes me feel so bad and I wish she could understand that we'd never leave her. It feels like she's expecting to be abandoned every day and I hate it. She's so sweet.
