Hey everyone,

I need to address something serious. Recently, I denounced a “keyed” reaction on our XenForo Soyjak forum, and in doing so, I disrespected part of what makes this community unique. At the time, I thought I was just voicing frustration, but looking back, I see how dismissive and out of touch that was.

The “keyed” reaction has a long history here—it’s more than just a button; it’s part of our shared humor and culture. By speaking against it so harshly, I invalidated the effort and inside jokes that many of you value. That wasn’t fair, and it goes against the inclusive, chaotic energy that drew me here in the first place.

I want to own this mistake without excuses. I didn’t fully understand the significance of what I was saying, but ignorance isn’t an excuse. I should have taken the time to understand the context before making a sweeping, negative statement.

Going forward, I’ll do better: I’ll engage with the community respectfully and remember that every reaction—especially “keyed”—carries meaning for someone. I’m sorry to everyone I upset, and I appreciate those of you who called me out. You were right to do so.

Thank you for holding me accountable.

Wait @1943 Or Something didn't you say before that the keyed react was useless or something like that on the old schlog ?
“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord,
“when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
but a famine of the keyed reaction.
People will stagger from sea to sea
and wander from north to east,
searching for the reaction,
but they will not find it."
