The fastest way for me is briefly glancing at them sometimes
While I can type without looking at the keyboard I need to glance at it for whatever reason

Also when I just type a sentence that is already in my head I can type it faster than words that I need to process on the screen
Tho I'm not really sure what mechanism in our bain or mind is responsible for this skill
