8.1 is a meme OS pushed by /g/edophiles that holds no benefit over 10 beyond the few minutes saved after install that would've been spent on running a debloat powershell script. It isn't supported by most modern software and it has no extended kernel or VxKex equivelant. The only reason I set it as equal is due to the OS being relatively light in contrast to 10.

Windows 7 only had telemetry since a security patch in 2019 which I'm certain you can disable it easily unlike the hoops you have to go through compared to modern windows 10 and 11
