Nonce is slang for pedoNow I feel the need to disclose the fact that I stole the screenshot from 4cuck /g/
Looks interesting. I don't like any desktop environment that's a 1:1 copy of Windows because it's the least efficient desktop environment, especially KDE. Never tried XFCE but I'm guessing it's similar. I usually prefer more minimal desktop environments or window managers because I use the terminal often and don't really care about floating windowsDecided to give Unity a whirl and why in the name of God did they abandon this in favor of GNOME? Everything from the transparency to the top panel serving as the applications top-bar is so sleek? Apologies XFCE, but I think this is becoming my daily driver.

I used to run a window manager. Dwm to be precise. I had like 25 patches installed, 2 made by me. It was a very personalized experience. Sadly the amount of patches made it so it was not stable so after using it for 4 years I ditched it for xfce.![]()
They're all I really need. I don't need XYZ or whatever desktop environments give. I can just install whatever I need through Portage and don't like wasting screen space
If you haven't already, I'd recommend the likes of JWM and IceWM. They seem to fit your criteria quite well even if they do feel a tad archaic.Looks interesting. I got filtered by WMs when I initially tried i3 months back, and I’m too lazy to learn and or make the hotkeys. Are WMs worth it? XMonad and Ratkiller caught my interest recently but I really couldn’t be bothered mulling over manuals for the sake of saving a tiny bit of ram.I used to run a window manager. Dwm to be precise. I love Greece and I love my culture but man Kyriakos Mitsotakis is a fucking dummyif I actually lived in Germany and not the shithole that is Greece I wouldn't have a single complaint in this world
Aryan selection of games, but why have both Paint.NET and Photoshop? Subjective opinion inbound but I'd recommend spending the few shekels a year on Mullvad VPN, it's served me well for two years and it's privacy first. Unlike Proton which to my knowledge has an inconsistent track record. (To the point of allowing people to purchase subscriptions through cash in mail.)
