I genuinely think this is the worst falloff we're ever going to see on the internet. I didn't think going from 8 million subscribers to struggling to break 100k views per video and 100 viewers per stream was even possible. I thought big youtubers would have some amount of obsessed parasocial fans no matter what they do or how bad their content gets, but ian is proving that isn't true.

You can fuck over your entire audience once and recover, we know that because even after turning into a soyboy he still found moderate success. But then he decided to do it again with the hasan shit at a point where his audience was basically ethan's wine mom audience. That combined with him burning bridges with everyone he was buddies with at creator clash and he was quickly left alone because both sides of the political spectrum save for hasan champagne socialists hate him. He's washed and it's genuinely only down from here, the faster he accepts it the better.

It's insane that he can still show his face on the internet without feeling extreme shame at this point. He blew up his entire life just to make hasan like him and the only thing he got was 1 video where hasan appears for like a minute and 1 stream together. Hasan doesn't even acknowledge his existence anymore.

Without a doubt. With a lot of the YouTubers who fell into cowdom, even in their prime there were clear signs that they were on some bullshit, whether they were constantly starting shit (Wings, DSP), had skeezy pasts (Boogie and his porn blogs, YanDev and EvaXephon), or both (Onision lmao). Not with iDubbbz. Sure it’s easy to say that he was the worst member of the Cancer Crew and all in retrospective but back when he was on top, none of that was really showing through. We saw a guy who appeared confident, intelligent, and entertaining, none of his flaws really showed until he posted the video about Anisa’s OnlyFans.

Ian is also an outlier since unlike boogie, wings or onision, ian didn't get popular in 2009 when there was nothing good to watch on the entire website. He got big in 2016 when youtube was competitive and you needed to actually be entertaining to get an audience. He used to be a genuinely entertaining and competent youtuber and now he's completely incapable of making a good video and has literally 0 fans.

I've said it before. Ian was never funny and he actually stole most of his jokes from a friend who he's most likely not in contact with anymore. He's talked about his friend before.

Oh ya, I saw this iDubbbz thing pop up in my feed. Thought it was about that Dubstep music. Sounds like somebody dropping a toolbox down a flight of stairs. Never did figure that stuff out. Good for him, though, whatever it is he's up to there.
