Stephen Hawking making occasional cameos was both surreal, albeit funny, but it was a terrible show overall.
These criticisms apply to Young Sheldon in the same way one would complain about That '90s Show as an extension of That '70s Show, Meet The Conners and Rosanne, Frasier and Cheers, or fucking Joey (the show) and Friends.
