I find it strange that while much of Western society openly supports those who kill people who have molested children (Plauche himself received no prison time from the judicial system, perhaps the lightest punishment he could have received), when people are actively killing children and then meet a similar end, suddenly, for their killer, it is grounds for life imprisonment (if not execution) while the responding media targets the defender of the children with disparaging accusations of insanity and extremism.
