dreams thread

because a dolphin killed someone.
I thought this was random, but I just realized exactly why this was in my dream

I've been having weird "dreams" as soon as I start falling asleep.
Wednesday night I was definitely dreaming, but I felt like I was just in bed and when I'd try to sleep I'd stop breathing, and then I'd have to really struggle to lift my head up. At some point, I dreamed that I was climbing into bed, but this bungiecord chair I haven't had in years was in the way and I ended up stuck in it. I was "paralyzed" again, but I'd be able to move a bit here and there and I was afraid I'd snap my neck trying to pull it off.
Eventually, I was in bed again and I sat up against my wall to stop from falling asleep, but then I woke up for real. This was all within about 20 minutes of me first trying to fall asleep.

Last night, again, must have started within ten minutes of me trying to sleep:
I had this dream that I was using a floor scrubber in my house, but I was drunk or high or something and I'd fall over and barely be able to get up.
At one point, I decided to lay in a bed in this room I'd never seen for a minute to wait it out, and then I was back to using the scrubber. My hallway were full of stuff on the sides, and I fell again and tried to lift myself up with a dolly, but it kept moving and again, I was afraid I'd fall and snap my neck on it.
Then I woke up in that bed from earlier, and I was relieved that I wasn't stuck out in the hallway, but it was dark and the light switch wouldn't work.
My phone was plugged in, but the outlet wasn't working so the battery was too low to use my flashlight.
I found a light switch that turned on this dim light in this small room (my brain looked at it and said "bathroom" but it had a mirror, a counter that should have had a sink but didn't, and an antique looking leather bench/couch.)
I plugged my phone in there, and it started to charge finally. I should mention I was extremely confused and distressed trying to find my way around in the dark, so when I finally woke up for real I was skeptical. It felt like I was trapped in 1408 (great movie) and that I was just going to keep waking up as soon as I found my way to that room. It took me about 15 seconds to actually look around amd realize I was in my actual room. I still wasn't even sure it was all a dream, I was just glad that I was in my own room and could sleep off whatever was happening without someone finding me stumbling around some random room I had no business in.
After about a minute and remembering everything from my dream, I remember just staring at my ceiling and saying "holy fuck..." out loud.

Pretty cool looking back. I'm such a bitch about nightmares in my dreams, but once I wake up they're my favorite to look back on.

Also, Wednesday night, I stayed up for about an hour after those paralysis dreams. When I finally tried going back to sleep, I remember my typical "pre-bed daydreams" being incredibly vivid and out of my control instead of just random fantasies I dictate. I was fully in some hallway, and it was some random video-game tier "monsters in some run down facility" setting, but there were no monsters and I had no gun, it was the dream equivalent to playing pretend as a kid. The setting was real and I felt like I was actually moving around, but I would still have to think "there's monsters there" and then hold my hands up pretending to hold a rifle. I would imagine cover, but it came in the form of these huge cubes with no detail no matter what, and my imaginary gun would change between some energy weapon and a normal rifle.
Again though, I woke myself up because youtube didn't autoplay, and I was obviously only "dreaming" for a few minutes and not actually asleep.

Black kid
There was just some random black kid breaking shit in my yard, so I went over and told him to stop. Then we argued for a while with him being rather noobdly, and it ended with him telling me he was going to come back with a gun
Had a dream that I was laying on a bed in my garbage and that two black SUVs pulled up in front of my house, and without getting up I started shooting at them. I didn't even wait to see if they were actually opps or feds or just normal ass noobs
Had a dream that my childhood dog was still alive and in my bed, and I was lucid enough to will my other 10/10 dead dog into the bed with us. I knew it was a dream, but it felt real, so I was happy.
Another later dream I woke up in my actual bed thinking I was actually awake, and I was suprised to see my two current dogs in bed with me (they normally sleep in my dad's bed because he's a SLF). I just stayed in bed and cuddled them

Soundcloud
I had another dream that I was in bed and trying to fall back asleep, and I just put on some music and heard this one gemmy song I hadn't recognized, but I forgot to like it and I kept trying to look for it, but the UI was all fucked up so I couldn't go back and look at my previous songs, and rewinding didn't work. I also heard another song that was the same instrumentals as another song I like, but with different lyrics. Pretty cool ig. I think it was zeroday by heelflip maybe? Can't remember.

recently i had a dream where a chinese woman invited me to a counter strike tournament in a chinese hair salon
when the tournament ended i was confused about who won since it wasnt a regular 5v5 format, I asked the woman who won, while at the same time a kid near me had his hair cut, she told me something in chinese and I left the store unsatisfied, and then I woke up

This is the only dream that I remember fully, I remember even the kills I got

I was in New York for some reason and the Super Bowl was being played at their stadium. I don't really care for football, but I thought it would be fun to watch the game at the stadium.
I got in, and the stadium was kind of this weird huge mall. I wandered around for a while, and found this weird petting zoo that also had animals for sale. There was this one small monkey in a cage that came up to me and I pet him, and he enjoyed it. He even turned his back to me and I realized there was a bit of matted hair that he was probably trying to get me to fix, so I tried to seperate it without hurting him. I remember that I embarrassed myself by trying to identify an animal and then realizing I was dead wrong, so I laughed it off and went back to the stadium.
Then, I realized I didn't have my wallet and wouldn't be able to get drunk, so I planned to leave.
Some girl came up from a few rows behind me in the stands and stared hitting on me, but I could tell she was just fucking with me so I brushed her off. As I got up to leave, some guy from her group followed me and started accusing me of creeping on her, and I just told him to fuck off and keep walking.
That thing where I can't walk in my dreams and start stumbling happened, evendoe again I didn't have my ID and couldn't have been drunk if I wanted.
I saw an old friend from high-school they greeted me as if he didn't know me, joking about me stumbling, and I figured I looked different enough he wouldn't recognize me, so I talked with him for a bit.
Eventually some other stranger came up and basically light-heartedly called me a piece of shit assuming that I had gotten so drunk that I was stumbling out of the stadium before the game even started.
To my dismay, my friend said, "oh yea, that's just [name], he's wild" (or something along those ligns).
I genuinely couldn't walk, like my legs were stuck crossed at the ankles, so I kind of just hopped down the stairs.
Went into the bathroom to splash water on my face and try to figure out how to walk, and I had a short interaction with some guy in a mobility scooter that was pleasant.

Then I left.
I couldn't remember where I parked and it was this really dingy looking paid-lot. There was a group of hood noobs and a few cops, so I desperately tried to not attract attention and just get to my car. I circled the lot looking a few times, and I thought about using panic button, but I had evidently left my keys in my car (I do it all the time where I live, but I remember thinking I was fucking dummyed for doing it in such a run-down lot)
I found some attendant booth, and I couldn't understand what the woman was telling me, but the gist was that my car was taken somewhere else. I asked where, but again I couldn't figure out what she said at all and was afraid to ask again and have her think I was too fucked to drive (I was finally walking normal)
Luckily about 6 other people came up looking for their cars, so she just walked us down (only ~half a block) to this building.
I went to the desk (kind of like an airport security check in) and I still didn't understand what I needed, but I thought I remembered my parking section had a pink square with a G on it, so I told the attendant and he just waved me through.
There were these papers on the walls with descriptions of cars, or names, or some even where it looked like they took the steering wheel covers off and used those to help people find their shit.
Couldn't find anything matching my car. I looked around twice, and it was FULL of people. I briefly wanted to check another section, but I didn't know where to begin and I figured I would get busted.

I don't even remember how it ended, I think I just woke up around then, or maybe tried to walk to find some other way home
