Midnight, Halloween. Outside of a three story building, there was a small chipper. In here I was inside with an aunt--mid 20s-- that I've never seen before with pink hair, her husband in dark blue hair with a broad stature and my family and uncle. Both were dressed like royalty. This chipper was square in shape with the second half separated via a silver, reflective countertop. To add, everyone was wearing Halloween costumes. My younger brother was wearing a red tracksuit with devil ears, my mother was wearing a very tacky witch costume and as for my father and uncle, I forget. Frankenstein maybe? I don't know.
Everyone inside was sat in three rows, split in the middle for direct access to the counter from the door. All the rows had three stools each, making 18 total. They were cushioned with a white spongy material and they themselves were adjustable. Everyone had ordered already except myself. My family were talking, and my aunt and her husband were loudly discussing their time in Hollywood. Their discussion was clearly meant for the room rather then themselves, but what they were actually talking about was how while they were there, all they could see anywhere was blue and white due to a movie advertising campaign running for a new James Bond film. The husband then loudly complained about the fact that what they watched on their first night in Hollywood was unpopular in the area, stating that "We're probably the only people here watching this!" while this was said the dream briefly cut to himself actually stating that exact line to the Aunt the day before in their little dinky, minimalist, plain white Hollywood apartment.
I had enough of this so I went to the counter and asked to order. I rummaged around in my pockets and saw that I had a tenner, five two euro coins, a fifty pound note which is completely useless in Ireland, and a couple loose five cent coins. I looked at the menu while the worker, small in stature, some stubble, glasses, small white cap with the company logo and a white apron. The menu--written in black on a vertically long rectangular board--had four flavours of milkshake, a large some burgers and some other stuff I didn't look at. During this brief moment of looking at the menu my mother commentated on what I was looking at from across the room, not mockingly but clearly not in my aid. The one thing that caught my eye was an option clearly added recently due to it being Halloween, a large green slime sticker with writing space in the middle, on the right end of the menu with somehing wrote on it that I forget. I chose that and a banana milkshake.
I then went to get my costume, as until now I was wearing a blue tracksuit. I exited the building, to which the dream transitioned in and out to the apartment block near the chipper. I was in a long hallway and the door I was teleported in-front of was clearly mine, so I grabbed the newfound key from my pocket and let myself in. Next thing I knew I was right back outside fully dressed in the most dummyed, cheap looking zombie costume ever. For some reason, I was wearing fishnets in place of pants, and not the wom*n clothing, actual fishnets, that were tied around my stomach like a belt and dangling down over my legs. I turned left and walked towards a wooden door, which when opened lead to a large room. The room had the option of going left and down a staircase to the bottom floor right as you walked in, but just beside the staircase there was two elevator shafts with buttons. I walked to the elevator as I didn't know my way out beyond the bottom floor being where I had to go, and I was on the third.
I stepped into the elevator on the right, still wearing the dummyed costume, and pressed the bottom button. At the press of this button the elevator went hurdling down much faster then I anticipated to the point of myself even getting two seconds of air time. After a loud thud I was on some basement level rather then the first, and the door opened. I pressed the button above the last which was to no avail. So instead I pressed the up arrow button that was besides the buttons which select the floors and slowly tapped it until the light of the first floor bled through the crack in the open door. I did this until it was to a level where I could hop up and crawl through the crack. Once out the elevator fell behind me and I found myself with a fade in and out, back at the chipper. I walked in and waited in the newfound queue until it was my turn and asked for my food. I then got handed the food and the milkshake, the food itself being a small cardboard tub with rice and sliced up bits of bacon. I sat down with my family on the left rows of stools and sat down, where the dream then ended.
