Every single Dell laptop I have ever encountered in-person has been absolute garbage. There's always some major fault, whether that be the viewing angles, the wafer-thin keyboard or the ear-raping exhaust fans.

Yeah they have problems, the 7490 is my favorite but even then the battery is prone to bloating

to be fair i tend to travel around a lot and i used to carry my laptops with me so maybe its that

The only real advantage (to me) are the dedicated trackpad buttons on the bottom of the upper chassis but even then some older high-end tier models have those as well. P50, 51, 52, 53 to name a few. Actually those might be the only ones. Not sure.
