I think Trump naming the Vatican in his tweet is him sort of acknowledging what you're saying, if it's going to end they need to do it themselves. We've already got the mineral deal so I think it's okay to just let it run it's course.

I still feel terrible for the Ukrainian soldiers, they're going to get hit the hardest no matter what happens, it's going to be like a Slavic Vietnam.
