okayAs someone who likes linux mind you, I personally believe linux has failed on the desktop and here is why.
>Most Distros require you to learn the terminal which the user does NOT want to do.
>It's community can be very insufferable.
>It's marketshare is around 2%
>downloading a single fucking package can cause your system to crash and die in some distros.

tl;dr desktop linux can be difficult and hard and its community tends to shitfling on others.
>Most Distros require you to learn the terminal which the user does NOT want to do.
Well yeah because most people are technologically-illiterate, the terminal forces you to become literate even if you use it for fastfetch and updating software
>It's community can be very insufferable.
You can ignore that doebeit
>It's marketshare is around 2%
that says more bad things about the rest of the OS world
>downloading a single fucking package can cause your system to crash and die in some distros.
Never happened to me so kys lienvke
>not many companies or software offically support it
Good, some software is bloated and proprietary like Adobe and should not be used as they are inherently corporate and exploitative. The windowsization of Linux is not something to be happy about.
>it's mainly all about identity politics and whatnot.
It's not, in fact you saying that shows your part of the problem.
