it's not even a proper fucking SSD, it's most likely eMMC storage which is basically glorified flash storage (the same one you'd find in thumb drives). Much less durable than standard SSDs and although the speeds aren't as bad as traditional flash storage, it's still garbage. A 7200RPM HDD would run circles around this thing.

256gb is still fine if you're not planning on doing anything more than productivity, web browsing and light gaming. my main drive on the T480 I'm using right now is 256GB and I still have like 100GB left even after installing 6 or 7 games.

Computer runs like shit
Half of storage is already taken up by system files. I went through apps and downloads andonly removed 2 GB, suddenly I lose a GB for whatever reason. Does anyone have a fix? If no, does anyone know any good laptops that cost below $300?

Yeah, 256 is fine. I had to switch eventually not so much because of space, but because i needed to run android studio and the previous 'puter wasn't cutting it.
