Oh yea, my nephews are visiting because they're camping in my yard (with their parents). Surprisingly they made it through all last night and were excited to sleep in the tent again tonight.
You can hear the coyotes out here like crazy every night, so I'm suprised the kids and my sister in law are willing to do it again after hearing them howl while trying to sleep.
They're camping here as a "dry run" because eventually we'll all camp out at a real site in the woods. Can't wait

Last time I camped out was a late fall, in a canvas tent with my jacket being my only "bed."
It was kind of fun. It was a ww2 reenactment, so it was really cool to barely sleep, freeze for a while, then go out to warm up by the fire with a rotating cast of people dressed like red army soldiers.

This might sound gay, but most of us were strangers and didn't talk much, so 17 year old me felt/pretended we were all traumatized by battle, trying to hold on to some comfort before out next fight, sitting in silent recognition around the fire. It was so cool. I can't wait to get back into it.

Pooner is staying at my house tonight and, yet again, nobody bothered to give me a heads up at all. I have retired to my room and brought my case of beer with me out of spite. I will be beating Resident Evil 0 tonight.

My second gf was some girl I rejected, but two other female friends pressured me into dating her.
Bitch ended up trying to get me arrested for bringing drugs to school purely because I sat with another female friend for 5 minutes because she seemed depressed instead of sitting with her. (I knew that friend for 2 years longer than I knew her btw)

I was lucky as hell, too, because I definitely did bring an edible and some Adderall to school, but they searched my bag and sobriety-tested me within the 45 minute window between me taking them and them kicking in.

I remember sitting in my dean's office with the lyrics "How true is this? Just get it over with. If this is true just let it be" from Ride The Lightning on loop in my head.

Another busy day of doing fuck all at work. Site seems more active today than usual even outside of the Cobblestone drama

Dreading my return to the night shift. It's so nice to get home at 3 and actually be able to hang out with my family.
Also for some reason, it's way easier to be in bed on time when I get off at 3, or maybe the sleep feels better?

Or maybe I'm just becoming less of a bitch and it'll be easier this time around. Who knows.

I also like my bosses, so it's fun to work while they're still there. Actually had way more work to do during the summer. Last year it was easy to sneak off and do nothing, but that wasn't the case until the past three weeks. Basically non-stop.
Didn't hate it though. A lot of waiting and easy work, so I got free time in small bursts.

Also, they might be giving us some extra hours regularly now, which would be time and a half, which would be HUGE. As much as I'm bitching about not getting enough sleep, I can pretty easily just suck it up and make do.

At my old job our district manager came in during my shift (as a manager) while I was stoned and I learned that there were tons of protocols that no one taught me that I was violating apparently. Terrible time.

Back in freshman year of high school I used to draw 9/11 on the whiteboards for fun and this Arab senior bitch in my class reported me to the school resource officer and claimed I wanted to shoot up the school

The snuss (tobacco that you can snort) i ordered will arrive Wednesday.
The handheld pc I mentioned is fine. I can play MW remastered on it just fine, but spore and COD: World At War require some serious work to make it work with the controls.
Wildlife Park 2, also.
Viva Piñata: TIP through cloud-play was ass, so I'll just have to emulate it. Viva Piñata is such an Aryan game btw

Would like to update this to say that I'm dummyed. I got WaW to work within 3 minutes identical to playing on console. Could probably do the same for Wildlife Park 2 if I tried. Overall my asus rog ally was my best purchase of the year.
RE2 was finicky too, with a lot of stuttering, but it just took google and 10 seconds to fix
No other drawbacks.

Wasted the hell out of my last paycheck, so depending on how big my next check is with my raise and overtime, I might wait until next check to start upgrading it.

I have a drawing tablet that probably doesn't work anymore and using it annoyed the hell out of me, but maybe I'd be able to actually draw on the "page" and connect it to a larger screen if needed.
Not that I was ever very good at anything but doodles and random patters, but still
