>I sure do love living in interesting times
>I wish I wasn't living through so many historical events
>The world when it's my turn to be an adult:

Sometimes I see a bunch of soyboy cucks say this, specially in jewtube comment sections and it pisses me off. Shut up cacaot. Nothing is gonna change, stop trying to make yourself trying to feel special.

I am one more instance of someone using this away from

What does that mean?
tl;dr in the bronze age and earlier everyone had a "bicameral mind," meaning their left and right brains were separated and they interpreted their thoughts as coming from an outside source (i.e. pagan gods)
eventually though, they developed consciousness from the left and right brains integrating, this caused the bronze age collapse because everyone stopped hearing the voices of their gods and collectively chimped out

Nuh uh, Odysseus caused the collapse by making the horse I saw it in the movie.

Was having a unicameral mind the ancient equivalent of spinning apples in your head?

No, having a "unicameral mind" is essentially the exact opposite of spinning an apple in your head.

While rotating a 3D object in your mind requires high-level, deliberate conscious manipulation, Julian Jaynes’s theory of the unicameral mind describes a state of human psychology where true consciousness did not exist at all.

Even if they are right and it actually is the worst time period ever (it's not), that whole attitude is flawed.
You as an individual aren't on the hook for saving civilization, the best you can do is try and stave off the rot whatever way you can, even if it's in your own mind.
That's all the individual person has ever been able to do.
If you try to save it you'll go insane.
