My bosses aren't in today so they told me to just boss the summer workers around and then go hide somewhere.
Tomorrow we're leaving at 11 for lunch so basically my boss will be buying me a steak lunch and like 10 beers and then sending us home while paying us for the whole day [calm]
 
Resident Evil 0 is fun, but I'm disappointed by the item management. When I first read that there were no item boxes, I thought item management would be a real issue to worry about, having to sacrifice items for more important stuff.
Turns out you can just drop shit and pick it back up later, so it really doesn't change much except making you backtrack.

The rest of the game is more challenging than the first game albeit. Less ammo and harder enemies. It's become a pain in the ass. Having fun THOUGH

Might be a bitch and restart to play on easy. I'm desperately low on ammo and there's so many fucking enemies

Got him btw. Grenade launcher is empty but I have plenty of shotgun shells and just need to start running past zombies until I find more pistol ammo. Hit a point where I have plenty of unlocked doors to go through. Feelsgood. Bummed that I won't be able to play much at work tomorrow, but at least I'm getting home early.
 
Finally tried THC again after not being able to use it without freaking out for almost a year now
Funnily enough, I have an urge to watch YouTube in the background while playing resident evil, which I literally never do with games other than, like, Civ and Tropico. It seems kind of dummyed to me normally.

I'm not freaking out, but I definitely feel a bit anxious so maybe I just want something mind numbing to distract me. Not gonna do it unless I need. I'm also yapping, so I'll try to stay off the site for the rest of the night and just play my game.
This is probably why my schlog blog was so rambley. If I started getting high semi-regularly again, I'm going to keep it to nighttime instead of doing it all day.

Keep thinking of more to say, so I'll cut it here. Goodnight.

My niece has started telling me about dreams she had everytime she sees me, which is aryan because I also love telling people about my dreams.
It's especially cool because I don't even remember having dreams when I was that young, I think.
Earliest dreams I remember are me trying to jump from one surface to another, a jump I could easily make even as a child, but missing and falling down an abyss that shouldn't be there. That was probably around 4 or 5.
She was recently woken up by a dream for the first time, from what she remembers, and she was amazed when I told her that I still get woken up by dreams as an adult. She thought it was a kid thing.

Went to a fair with my nephews today also. It was extremely hot out.
Yesterday's fair was so lax that I just instinctively brought my knife with to this one. Got to security and realized they had guys with metal detectors, so I turned back to put my knife back in the car.
When I came back, the security guard said "thank you for leaving the knife" which took me aback.
Not sure if I'm overconfident of how well I concealed it, or if I just have low standards for county fair security, but I was very surprised that he knew I left the line specifically because of a knife in my pocket.

My first thought after the shock/confusion was that he was probably pleasantly suprised that I just respected the rules enough to leave my group, get out of line, and walk all the way back to my truck to put the knife away without being asked or making an attempt to sneak it in. My second thought was something like "yep, I did that because I'm white. A noob would have argued and caused a scene over it"

Anyway, unremarkable fair. There's the aforementioned panic attack from being alone with my nephews on a sketchy ferris wheel and constantly having to stop them from jumping out. Otherwise, they went on a few rides and played the "pick rubber ducks" game and we left.

Almost bought a tung tung tung sahur plush, and I probably would have if the vendor was white, but idk, something about mexicans invading the vendor booths at fairs just to sell some generic trend-chasing bullshit and 3d printed garbage pisses me off to no end
When i grew up, those booths were old white guys selling old collections, tools, or crafts. Even the Mexicans would atleast sell weird food that most Americans don't normally eat or Mexican candy. Now, some booths literally look identical. You can find 4 booths selling the same pop-culture themed ponchos, the same 3d printed snakes/dragons/octopi, to-go cups with designs, and whatever is popular that year. I hate it. I liked searching for weird shit at these kinds of things, but now it just feels like walking through a dying mall.

Uhhhhhhh idk what else. In bed for the night, gonna play some resident evil for a bit and go to bed. I think I'm close to the end of RE0, just have to load an old save because I royally fucked myself.
