I tried to make a custom hardware overlay for my phone for the sole purpose of fixing the status bar height (the camera would cut into content on the ROM i was using) and I gave up after two hours. It wanted me to fucking change like 80 different XML values across 8 different files and I was about halfway through before I was like "This is fucking stupid". Also i had to make a github account to fork some repo to build it and now everyone knows my name is associated with Touko Madobe profile pictures on there. Fuck
