A ddos is a distributed denial of service. Basically the distributed part is what makes ddoses so potent. Several pajeet ips attack your servers all at once to the point your server can't keep up and starts lagging or crashes. This happens because said pajeet ips belong to dummyed people who had their computers or devices hijacked and are used for a botnet
