>Rage comics become a topic of interest again on Reddit and other parts of the internet.
>This causes people to make OC pertaining to rage comics, one being a derivative of Troll Science; Trollge, and the other essentially being neo-rage comics.
>For some reason, they begin making a point about how rage comics are similar, if not the exact same to wojaks and the cancer that are wojak comics.
>They try to prove this point but instead reveal how much they didn't understand about the format in the first place.
>The end result is just a wojak comic with rage faces, or vice versa, instead of an actual authentic rage comic.
>This somehow means that wojaks and ragies are the same(?)

I don't get it? They essentially took two seperate things, made the first thing resemble the second thing, and then proceed to say "well they're the same!" except they were the ones to make it the same thing. Like a form of gaslighting.

Here are examples of what I mean:
The first two images are actual rage comics, the second two are the misunderstandings of the genre.

An unrelated tangent, though still related to rage comics is that wojaks have nothing to do with rage comics.
They evolved separately on separate platforms with little to no overlap, early on, so while plebbit was still preoccupied with rage comics, 4cuck and krautchan were having a field day with wojaks making 'feels guy' memes until that shit blew up in 2012.

I laughed a little
They're the antithesis to a majority of modern memes. Instead of being drenched in irony to a point where you're unsure what to take from the meme and what it's saying, it's so straight forward that it is what it is without being something else, so while these could appeal to the lowest common denominator, everybody can get some kind of enjoyment out of them.

OP, what do you think of "Le necro skullfuck"?

Has nothing to do with rage comics, it's a trollge thing, so while very, very crude and not funny, I don't really care. I do however hate that the trollface is now a creepypasta-esque figure rather than before when it was an odd, sometimes playful, only occasionally malicious character or a vessel for other people's pranks.
